Description: This work marks a deliberate Material: departure in my exploration of the interior psychological landscape. I shifted from the organic, yielding resilience of Hanji to the firm, structural permanence of wall plaster to construct a tangible representation of tranquility within the mind.
Using the putty knife, I aggressively yet deliberately built up the surface, creating a solid topography of sharp edges, low valleys, and structural peaks. These forms are not random; they are the firm, intangible architecture of consciousness—the necessary structure, discipline, and effort required to map and manage one's own terrain. Tranquility, for me, is not a passive state; it is an active achievement built through confrontation and form.
The final layer of spray paint unifies this complex structure. It casts a quiet, even atmosphere over the turbulence of the plaster, evoking the deep contemplation and stillness that defines true mental peace. The piece ultimately asserts that the most resilient and profound serenity is found not in softness, but in the ordered, quiet architecture of a well-defined mind.

마음의 고요한 건축
이 작품은 제 내면의 심리적 풍경에 대한 탐구에 있어 의도적인 재료적 전환을 의미합니다. 저는 마음속의 평온함을 구체적으로 구현하기 위해, 유기적이고 유연한 한지의 탄력성에서 벗어나 견고하고 구조적인 벽 플라스터의 영속성을 사용했습니다.
퍼티 나이프를 사용하여 표면을 공격적이면서도 의도적으로 구축함으로써, 날카로운 모서리, 낮은 골짜기, 구조적인 봉우리가 있는 확고한 지형을 만들었습니다. 이 형태들은 무작위가 아닙니다. 이는 의식의 확고하고 무형적인 건축물—자신의 지형을 지도화하고 관리하는 데 필요한 구조, 규율, 그리고 노력—입니다. 저에게 평온함은 수동적인 상태가 아니라, 대립과 형식을 통해 구축되는 능동적인 성취입니다.
마지막 스프레이 층은 이 복잡한 구조를 통일합니다. 플라스터의 격렬함 위에 고요하고 균일한 분위기를 드리우며, 진정한 정신적 평화를 정의하는 깊은 명상과 고요함을 불러일으킵니다. 이 작품은 가장 탄력적이고 심오한 평온함은 부드러움이 아니라, 잘 정의된 마음의 질서 있고 고요한 건축물에서 발견된다는 것을 궁극적으로 보여줍니다.
