Description: This series, my initial foray into geometric abstraction, was exhibited at the Whittier Gallery. The works focus on the essential relationship between line and space.
The process uses rice paper adhered to the canvas, with the compositions defined by lines alone. Most importantly, the vast white space is deliberately left untouched. This negative space functions as the artwork's "breathing room," offering the viewer a moment of contemplation and serenity found within the emptiness.
